WELCOME TO TURTLE MOUNTAIN FARM

Located in the beautiful Endless Mountains of Northeast Penna., Turtle Mountain Farm is the home of purebred Icelandic sheep, free range chickens and ducks, and a Community Supported Agriculture program,

Our flock is 3 years old now, and we are breeding for fleece and meat production, as well as improved resistance to heat and worms. We are also attempting to improve our horn genetics and color diversity.

Our layer chickens are barred rocks, red-sex links and americanas, raised on organic feed and free range. Our brown, green, and blue eggs are for sale.

A new Community Supported Agriculture program was started this year as an initial venture into this aspect of agriculture. Our test shareholders helped us start to understand their needs and wants, and we are going to re-evaluate this winter for a new spring plan,
